Relics

Relics are one of the key development resources in Evony. They provide various artifacts and resources. This includes: general fragments, gold, gems, experience, blood of Ares, materials etc. They are perfect: Image 1. An opened relic. when you are starting with game and do not have enough troops, and research for gathering: relics provide much more resources per troop on initial cycles of the game play; when you don't have a lot of time to play the game: you can send troops to explore relics once in a day, or two, and send them again the following evening. Relics like RSS spots on the world map can be attacked after opening by other players outside of your alliance. Multiple alliance members are able to send troops in the same time to the same relic. Cultivation of Generals

This Barbarossa was heavily improved. Hence the price of gem cultivation went significantly up. Gold cultivation went down as after 300 points it is effectively useless. Cultivation is a strong, and relatively available option to increase your commander's characteristics: for player vs player (PvP), fighting monsters, or gathering. Go to your Generals > Pick General and then click on "Cultivate" button. This will bring you to a window which looks like this one: Approach Start cultivating your general using gold, as gold cultivation does work only while each of four cultivation boosts attributes is less than 300 points; Continue with gems afterwards. Unlike gold cultivation, gem cultivation could be done 10 times at once. Use it. It would help you with this process, which alone with all resources available can take 3-4 hours; Don't expect all attributes to go up all the time.
